Glenfiddich 21 Years Old - Winter Storm Experimental

In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William Grant set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Together they began building his Distillery by hand, stone by stone. After a single year of work, it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.
William’s passion, determination and pioneering spirit continues to guide us today. Glenfiddich is one of the few single malt distilleries to remain entirely family owned and is now the World's Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky, a true reflection of our founder’s innovative nature, passed down through the generations.

Glenfiddich announced that they would be 'pushing the boundaries of Scotch whisky’ by releasing a series of innovative whiskies as part of its new Experimental Series.
This is the third release in Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. The 21 Year Old Winter Storm has been finished in an ice wine cask from Peller Estate in Niagra, Canada.

Nose:    A bouquet of tropical fruit and candied sweets are perfectly balanced with underlying wine notes.

Taste:    Soft sweet notes reminiscent of candied fruit and Turkish delight develop into flavours of mouth-watering lychee. The fusion of sweet flavours is soon met with a rich drying sensation from the Ice-wine.

    Finish:    Short and crisp.
