Springbank 12 Year Old 2025 Cask Strength Batch 28

The 2025 release, Batch 28, of 12 Year Old Cask Strength from Springbank, bottled in September 2025. It was matured solely in bourbon casks.

    Nose:    Sweet and vibrant, with pear, smoke, wheat, some sea salt.

    Taste:    Tart apples, a light hint of lemon, ash and peat, smoke and popcorn.

    Finish:  Long, pleasant, with sour apples and pepper.

Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast.
The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland.
