Springbank 12 Year Old 2020 Cask Strength Batch 20

The 2020 edition of Springbank 12 year old Cask Strength was matured in 45% ex-Sherry, 25% ex-Bourbon, 25% ex-Burgundy and 5% ex-Port casks.

    Nose:    Peach, apricots, coconuts, oranges, farm air, apples, wet pebbles and honey.

    Taste:    Orange, apricots, pepper and salt.

    Finish:    Medium. Sweet, slightly salty and oranges.

Springbank distillery is located in Campbeltown, a picturesque Scottish town situated at the southern end of the Kintyre Peninsula on the glorious west coast.
The first reference to Campbeltown whisky is recorded in writing in 1591. Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Today, Springbank is one of only three distilleries operating in the Campbeltown area and is the oldest independent family-owned distillery in Scotland.
