Kilkerran 12 Year Old 2023 Release Single Malt Whisky

Kilkerran 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky produced at the Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, Scotland. It is a rich, full-bodied whisky that has been aged for 12 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks.

    Nose:    Pear, apples, Charred wood, some hay, lemon in the background, peat, some brown sugar, sea breeze all very nicely integrated.

    Taste:    Not very oily/mouthcoating, but nice tasting, some pepper and spice, a bit salty, mineral and the lemon is hiding behind some soft ash.

    Finish:    Medium short, dry, nuts, salty, fades into Christmas cake.
