Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva Lunar New Year 2021

A Limited Edition Gran Reserva from Glenfiddich, released for the Chinese New Year 2021 to celebrate the Year of the Ox.
The whisky was finished in hand-selected Caribbean rum casks for up to four months, the result is a rich, sweet and exotic dram. A testament to the artistry and expertise of the Glenfiddich distillery, the illustration was created by Chinese artist Rlon Wang.

    Nose:    Intense, sweet and floral with a hint of banana, fig, caramel, new leather and oak.

    Taste:    Sweet and bright, with a peppery and smoked touch as well as lime aromas and spicy notes of ginger.

    Finish:    Long, warm and spicy.

In the summer of 1886, with his seven sons and two daughters by his side, William Grant set out to fulfil a lifelong ambition. Together they began building his Distillery by hand, stone by stone. After a single year of work, it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer.
