Glendronach 21 Year Old Parliament 2018 Release

Launched in 2011, Parliament is the 21 Year Old core range expression and takes its name from the community of rooks that have nested in the trees above the distillery for hundreds of years. It is matured using a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
This is the 2018 release.
Glendronach distillery was closed between 1996 and 2001. This means that the versions of 21 Year Old expression bottled between 2016 and 2022 contained much older whisky than that.

    Nose:    Dark sherry fruit with dark chocolate, rum raisins, coffee, pastries, leather, tobacco and oranges.

    Taste:    Sweet sherry with dark chocolate, coffee, pastries, oranges, vanilla, leather, tobacco and oak flavours.

    Finish:    Long with dark chocolate, oranges, leather, tobacco, espresso and oak aromas.
