Caol Ila Distillers Edition 2022 Release Single Malt Whisky

Part of the Caol Ila Distillers Edition series, the whisky has been double matured in specially paired wine-finished casks.
The 2022 release has been finished in ex-Moscatel seasoned American oak casks, creating layers of soft fruit and warming spices that mingle with the distillery's smoky, clean character.

    Nose:    Toasted bread, cake dough, lots of vanilla, fine peat and smoke, iodine, cereals, hay, apple, pear in the background, whiff of ham and bacon.

    Taste:    Fruity, light, vanilla, little peaty and smoky, subtle sweetness, apple, pear, hay, tobacco.

    Finish:    Medium long, warm, peaty, smoky, vanilla, fruity.
