The Craftsmanship: Local Barley & Expert Maturation

Distilled using 100% malted barley grown exclusively at Bellevue Farm by the Currie family, this expression is a tribute to the island’s agricultural roots. To achieve a perfectly balanced profile, the spirit has been meticulously matured in a combination of:

• 1st Fill Bourbon Barrels: Lending deep vanilla sweetness and charred oak structure.
• 2nd Fill Sherry Hogsheads: Adding layers of dried fruit complexity and a refined finish.

• Nose: Opens with a bouquet of fresh herbs and bright light citrus. A medium sweetness emerges, layered with creamy vanilla and a delicate hint of aniseed.

The Legacy of Isle of Arran Distillers

The Isle of Arran has a storied distilling history, once home to over 50 illicit stills. After a long hiatus following the closure of the Lagg distillery in 1837, whisky production triumphantly returned in 1995. Founded by former Chivas Brothers managing director Harold Currie, the distillery captures the essence of the "wee rock."
