Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara 2025 Release Japanese Single Malt Whisky

Yamazaki 18 Years Old Mizunara 2025 Edition is a profound expression of Japanese Single Malt, shaped entirely by the enigmatic character of Mizunara oak. The whisky was aged for 18 years exclusively in rare Mizunara oak casks which imparted their unique spices, reminiscent of fragrant incense.
‘The ancient Japanese oak Mizunara imparts ethereal aromas of sandalwood and incense, a texture both silken and elusive, and a soul that deepens with each year. As time passes, guided carefully by our artisans, an alchemy of nature and mastery emerges in barrels crafted from one of Japan’s most sacred woods’.

Nose:    Rich and elegant top notes of dark cherry, ripe peach with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.

Taste:    Subtly spiced organette with undernotes of Japanese incense.

Finish:   Long and lingering, accentuated with clove, sandalwood and hints of dried coconut.
