Woodford Reserve Madeira Cask Finish Series 20 Master’s Collection

Part of the Master’s Collection from Woodford Reserve, this is the 2024 release Madeira Cask Finish Series No. 20.
“Madeira Cask Finish is a tremendous way to celebrate 20 years of the Master’s Collection,” said Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.
For the 20th instalment in Woodford Reserve's Master's Collection, the bourbon includes liquid from barrels that are 5 to 7 years old, finished in Madeira casks for over 3 years.

Nose:    Dark cherries, brown sugar, and candied oranges sprinkled with clove and nutmeg.

Taste:    Dried dark fruit notes of raisin and dried cranberries fade into walnut and baking spice.

    Finish:    Long candied walnut finish.

Woodford Reserve is a brand of premium small batch Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey produced in Woodford County, Kentucky, by the Brown-Forman Corporation.
The Woodford Reserve Distillery, formerly known as the Old Oscar Pepper Distillery and later the Labrot & Graham Distillery, is approximately eight miles from the town of Versailles in north-central Kentucky. Distilling began on the site in 1812. Although the site has not been continuously operational as a distillery since, the main structure, built in 1838, stands as one of the oldest distilleries in Kentucky, now a National Historic Landmark.
