Springbank was established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illicit still, becoming the 14th licensed distillery in Campbeltown. Campbeltown Loch are Blended Malts Whiskies produced by the Springbank distillery located in Campbeltown.
The Blended Malt is obtained by combining Malts exclusively from five Campbeltown brands: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. These malts are matured in a combination of casks, vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery.

A really rather exciting release from Springbank here! This blend contains various Campeltown single malts from the Springbank distillery.

Nose:   Mineral-maritime notes as well as fruity notes of raisins, grapes and a dash of lemon. A hint of peat smoke envelops the fruit.

Taste:    The maritime and mineral notes, which are already well pronounced in the nose, appear a few bit fatter and clearer. After a while, the creaminess gives way to a woody dryness that, together with marzipan and almond chocolate

Finish:    Clearly medium length finish, still fat and full bodied, lots of toffee, caramel and nougat, plus slivers of almonds, mineral notes pick up speed again, dry peat smoke wafts in the mouth.

Please note: Springbank labels are extremely prone to scuffing. We cannot guarantee these items are like new.
