Springbank 2015 Local Barley 10 Year Old

An exceptional Springbank Single Malt Whisky from the esteemed Scotland distiller, Local Barley 10 Year Old 2025 release, bottled at 55.2% ABV.
This is one of a select number of releases produced using malted barley harvested from neighbouring farms in the Campbeltown area. They were first introduced in the late 1990s and were eventually re-named as the Local Barley series in the 2000s.
This Springbank Local Barley 10 Year Old was distilled in July 2015 and bottled in October 2025. The 'local barley' comes from the varietal Bere and was grown on the Clochkiel farm, Scotland. One of only 8,000 bottles released.

    Nose:    Nuts, walnuts, cigar tobacco, hay, cocoa, dark chocolate, spices, herbs, hint of leather, woody, little honey and berries in the background.

    Taste:    Oily, creamy, spices, honey, pepper, hint of vanilla, herbs, camphor, peppermint, citric, woody.

    Finish:    Medium long, warm, with spices, honey and herbs.
