Shizuoka Prologue K & Prologue W Tasting Set 2 x 20cl

Shizuoka Distillery aims to give drinkers a taste of its locality with the use of local produce. From the waters of the nearby Abe Nakagawachi River to the locally grown barley as well as the firewood used to heat one of its pot stills.

Prologue K was matured in first-fill bourbon casks.  The letter “K” in the name indicates that this was produced using the ex-Karuizawa still.

Prologue W was made using a wood-fired still, known as Pot Still W, and matured in ex-bourbon casks.

The set includes a pair of Japanese Single Malts bottles of 200ml each.
