Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release – Decade II

The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release is a limited-edition created by The Macallan master whisky maker Kirsteen Campbell.
The collection comprises of six limited edition bottles where each bottle is designed to represent a different decade of the Bond franchise.
The whisky is consistent within all six bottles.

This bottle is Decade II of the Collection. The Decade II explores the 1970s with the rise of Roger Moore’s Bond. He brought different, mischievous facets and humour to the character, cheering up a somewhat dire decade. The pack design features from The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Stromborg’s Atlantis marine research lab, and various space station concepts from Moonraker (1979).


    Nose:   Fresh and vibrant notes of lemon and lime, a sprinkle of sherbet, leading into a sweet vanilla and coconut, with a hint of dried fig and raisin.

    Taste:    Orange zest and fizzy sherbet with a lemon freshness, gentle oak and subtle ginger spice, leading into a deep dark chocolate, figs and baked apple tart with a honey drizzle.

    Finish:    Sweet and long with complexed layers.
