Kavalan Year of The Horse Triple Sherry Cask Matured Single Malt Whisky

A Limited Edition bottling of Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky released for the Lunar New Year 2026, Year of The Horse. Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky is a rare combination of three exquisite sherry aged casks: Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Moscatel, with the dried fruits of Oloroso as its main character.
Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Year of The Horse was bottled at 43% ABV, slightly higher than the core release.
It is presented in a gift box featuring a mist-gold finish with embossed golden horse patterns and includes a branded whisky glass. A refined and festive presentation ideal for Lunar New Year gifting.

    Nose:    A lush, fragrant wave of ripe summer berries and red grapes opens the experience, quickly deepened by notes of dark chocolate, cinnamon stick, and a bright zest of citrus peel.

    Taste:    The texture is velvety and coating, delivering a complex interplay of candied dates, dried mango, and rich caramel that dances with the savory nuttiness of the Oloroso wood.

    Finish:   Long and impeccably balanced, the sweetness fades into sophisticated layers of ginger spice, brown sugar, and a lingering, floral honey note from the Moscatel.

Kavalan Distillery has been pioneering the art of Single Malt Whisky in Yilan County, Taiwan since 2005.
