Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia Extra Añejo 2023 Release

Jose Cuervo’s Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo ultra-premium artisanal small-batch tequila, released in 2023. Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo is the award-winning pinnacle of the Jose Cuervo tequila.
Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo emerges from aging in new American and French oak barrels using the most flavourful inner parts of the agave plant. The result is a rich and complex tequila with an intricate marriage of flavours and a velvety finish.
The artwork for this limited release wooden collector’s box was designed by artists Rolando Flores and Gabriel Cázares of the Mexico-based Tercerunquinto Collective. The artists reimagined the natural environment as an elaborate abstract landscape. Each bottle is hand numbered and wax sealed.

Jose Cuervo, the world's oldest tequila brand, boasts a history spanning over 250 years. In 1758, José Antonio de Cuervo was granted permission to land in the town of Tequila, Mexico by the King of Spain to harvest blue agave. 37 years later, his son, José María Guadalupe de Cuervo was granted the first license to produce and distribute tequila. José Antonio de Cuervo, at the La Rojena Distillery, turned hundreds of agave plants into millions. Cuervo developed advanced distillery machinery for the time, setting records by becoming the first brand to bottle tequila individually.
The La Rojeña distillery, founded in 1812, is the oldest active distillery in Latin America and remains the heart of Jose Cuervo's production.
