Heaven Hill 18 Year Old Small Batch Heritage Collection 2024 Release

Part of the Heritage Collection from Heaven Hill, this 18 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the 2024 release.
The Heaven Hill Heritage Collection's annual release embodies the distillery's craftsmanship, patience, and consistency, reflecting 90 years of whiskey-making tradition. This 18 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the third in the series, following the 2023’s 20 Year Old corn whiskey and 2022’s 17 Year Old bourbon releases.
This exceptional whiskey is made from the distillery’s bourbon mash bill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye. It was bottled at 120 proof and is a blend of 133 barrels that were distilled in December 2005 and aged on the third floor of warehouse 1I.
 

    Nose:    Rich red fruits, cinnamon, caramel, fragrant charred oak, dark chocolate, black pepper and fire-roasted almonds.

    Taste:    Dark chocolate notes, dried red fruits, caramel, spices and fire-roasted honey almonds.

    Finish:   Lingering peppery spice, caramel, rich dark fruits and dark chocolate.

Its current distillery facility, called the Heaven Hill Bernheim distillery, is in Louisville, Kentucky.
