Glenmorangie Grand Vintage 1996 23 Year Old Single Malt Whisky

Grand Vintage 1996 from Glenmorangie is the sixth release in the Bond House No 1 Collection.
Bond House No 1 is an annual release made from some of Glenmorangie’s most important vintages. It is designed to celebrate the largest of the distillery’s 19^th century warehouses, Warehouse No 1.
It has been matured for 23 years in American white oak casks made from their very own forests in Missouri’s Ozark Mountains and seasoned with bourbon. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2019.

    Nose:    Honey, dried apples, peaches, pears, malt, graham, vanilla, cereal sweetness and some graham, banana and a light nutty note.

    Taste:    Graham, dried apples, peaches, pears, honey, nuts, sultanas, vanilla, dried banana and malt with a touch of oak.

    Finish:   Medium-long. Orchard and stone fruit fade to cereal grain sweetness and oak.
