Crown Royal Chocolate Blended Canadian Whisky

Part of the Flavored Whisky Series from Crown Royal, this Limited Edition is the Chocolate release. As the name suggests, the classic Canadian whisky was blended and infused with the flavour of rich velvety chocolate.

    Nose:    Aroma of creamy chocolate and fudge with top notes of whisky, vanilla and slight oak.

    Taste:    Velvety taste, high caramel and toffee, a delicate mixture of cacao and whisky.

    Finish:   Sweet balanced with Canadian Whisky and lingering dark cocoa flavour which dissolves in the mouth like a caramel.

Crown Royal blended Canadian whisky was created in 1939 as a gift for the king and queen of England, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the first reigning monarchs to visit Canada. A Canadian spirits entrepreneur trialled more than 600 blends before outfitting the final product in a cut-glass decanter and regal purple bag with gold stitching. The royal blend and rumours of the unrivalled whisky fit for a King quickly spread. Crown Royal was released in the United States in the 1960s and has since become the top selling Canadian whisky.
