Part of the Chinese Lunar New Year Special Limited Editions, this is the Royal Salute 21 Year Old Scotch Whisky released to celebrate the 2026 Lunar New Year, the Year of the Horse. This release features vibrant artwork by Emily Carter and symbols of strength, prosperity, and good fortune, offering the brand's signature rich blend in a collector's gift pack perfect for the festive season.
Award-winning British illustrator Emily Carter brings her signature artistry to this release, capturing the vibrant spirit and renewal that define the Year of the Horse. Her intricate illustration radiates with life: bold florals, fluttering butterflies, and dazzling fireworks and also features iconic emblems such as the Tower of London, majestic lions, and graceful cranes.
Royal Salute was created in 1953 to mark the coronation of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The name of this exceptional Scotch Whisky comes from the 21 Gun Royal Salute, which is fired from the Tower of London for royal celebrations.
The blend is the result of a selection of rare and exceptional Scotch whiskies, matured for a minimum of 21 years.

Nose:    Powerful aromas of sweet pears and citrus fruits are balanced with the full fragrance of autumn flowers. Elegant aromas of sweet vanilla and dry oak are enhanced with subtle notes of sherry and smoke.

Taste:    Rich, full, deep fruity flavours with a subtle smokiness. The first taste brings the subtleties of the nose to life. Sumptuous sweet orange and marmalade flavours infused with fresh pears burst across the tongue, followed by a rich medley of spices and a nuttiness of hazelnuts that have a mouth-filling intensity.

    Finish:   Dry and slightly spicy.
