Bunnahabhain Gordon & MacPhail 10 Year Old Discovery Smoky

From the Bunnahabhain distillery, this 17 Year Old Single Malt Whisky was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Discovery range. Gordon & MacPhail’s Discovery range has been created to provide an introduction to Single Malt Whiskies from some of Scotland’s most admired distilleries. Each expression sits within one of the bold flavour profiles of ‘Sherry’, ‘Smoky’ or ‘Bourbon’, ideal for an exploration through flavour and character.

    Nose:   Sweet and creamy; vanilla custard topped with crushed meringue and zesty lemon curd. Fresh cut grass swirls with aromas of the seaside; seaweed, brine, and sea salt. Light peat smoke envelopes the nose throughout.

    Taste:   Candied lime and lemon sit upon a bed of stewed pear and currants. Nuances of velvety milk chocolate lead to richer leather undertones with hints of liquorice.

    Finish:  Long and smooth on the finish with refined woody tones, tobacco, and bonfire embers.
