Octomore Polyphonic 15 Year Old Fèis Ìle 2025 Rock'ndaal 04.1

-The oldest Octomore ever released-

Octomore is the super-heavily peated single malt produced by Bruichladdich distillery, the most routinely heavily peated in the world. The whisky is named after the farm of the same name, located on a hillside north of the town of Port Charlotte. Having been traditionally an un-peated single malt due to the needs of its former owners for their blends, Murray McDavid were quick to diversify the Bruichladdich portfolio, also introducing the more lightly peated Port Charlotte and Lochindaal.
Released for the 2025 Fèis Ìle, this Limited Edition Octomore Polyphonic was matured for 15 years in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels, refill American oak and premium wine casks. The Polyphonic bottle features a retro neon visualisation of Octomore farm, inspired by ‘80s remix albums, movies, and video games.
Only 2,500 bottles released.

Nose:    Oak, sweet cinder toffee, vanilla fudge, dark chocolate and a pinch of sea salt. Burnt orange mingles with waves of barbeque smoke and subtle hints of liquorice and ripe cherry.

Taste:    Notes of freshly baked pastry, golden syrup and freshly ground coffee come to the fore. A subtle minerality is a gentle reminder of the spirit’s all-Islay maturation, with notes of sea salt, warm sand and beach bonfire smoke.

Finish:   Soft seasoned oak settles as elegant peat smoke and waves of sea spray linger.
