Ben Nevis 20 Year Old Douglas Laing’s 1997 King of The Hills Old Particular

Ben Nevis 20 Year Old King of The Hills 1997 Single Malt Whisky, produced at the Ben Nevis distillery and bottled by independent bottler Douglas Laing’s, as part of its Old Particular ‘Consortium of Cards’ series. Distilled in 1997, it was matured in single refill butt for 20 years and bottled in 2017. This is the second release from Douglas Laing's Old Particular Consortium of Cards series, featuring the King of Diamonds on the label.
Only 626 bottles released.


    Nose:    Vanilla, caramel, dark sherry, raisins, oak and cinnamon.

    Taste:    Intense elderflower and fruity notes, spicy, smooth, creamy, nutty, bittersweet with smoky notes.

    Finish:    Long finish, creamy sherry, with tropical fruit.
